21/04/2009
Business continuity services will be offered to local companies in the Tamworth area by a new business recovery centre, it has emerged.
The new centre is being opened by Quiss Technology, a Tamworth-based technical firm.
Quiss' new centre will offer support to companies during a disaster situation and assist with disaster recovery implementation. It will also offer businesses a chance to talk to disaster recovery experts.
The 90 seat facility, which opened yesterday, is the first of its kind to be owned and run by Quiss.
Recently, a risk assessment survey by iJet suggested that business continuity planning could become more important during the economic downturn.
The company suggested that the possible increased instance of strikes and walkouts could mean that companies' operations are disrupted more often.
