New high-speed business broadband service announced
20/10/2008
Business broadband with speeds of 100Mbps has been launched in London by internet service provider Vaioni.
Subscription, which costs approximately £800 a month, comes with various guarantees, including any problems rectified within four hours.
The service is available to businesses and operates through "a pure Ethernet, fibre optic layer two connections" and is part of the firm's initiative to offer improved telecoms services in the midst of the credit crunch.
"This 100mb internet offer should allow businesses to not only extend their budget in other areas of telecoms and IT, but get more for their money," said Vaioni's Sachin Vaish.
Mr Vaish furthered that the company hope the service will be extended to other major UK cities, such as Manchester "in the near future".
In similar news today, Thomas Newton of UK Web Media stated that consumers would soon be offered high-speed broadband and gaming alongside high-definition TV, reported broadband-finder.co.uk.
