Managed hosting saves accountancy firm money

Accountancy firm The Wow Company has saved itself money by hiring a managed hosting firm.
On top of this, by transferring the running and maintenance of its IT infrastructure to a third party, the firm has improved its operations with hosting services for its file management platform and an improved instant messaging system.
Employees have benefited from a consolidated file management and collaboration environment which has greatly simplified daily tasks, improving business efficiency and client service meanwhile, the company has reduced the amount it spends on IT.
Commenting on the situation prior to co-location, Peter Czapp, a director at The Wow Company, said: "No one could access anyone else's information. Setting up a meeting, for instance, was often a lengthy and frustrating process involving multiple telephone calls and email messages."
He added that documents often had to be shared by email so version complications often arose.
According to Ghacks Technology News, managed hosting can improve a businesses operational efficiency and greatly reduce IT infrastructure expenditure.
