The Wall Street Journal reports that major Swiss bank Credit Suisse has signed a managed hosting agreement to deliver hosting support for its Advanced Execution Services business - a move that could reflect the increasing importance of managed hosting in today's business environment.
Under the terms of the agreement Credit Suisse will be given access to the hedge fund hosting package offered by Finetix, which it will use to provide its customers with ultra-fast access to markets and data.
Naseer Al-Khudairi, co-head of cash trading at Credit Suisse, said that the bank is committed to supporting its customers with the best new technologies.
He added that the hosting agreement "means that we can provide our customers with a fully supported, managed service with access to all the major markets, with a reliable and flexible trading infrastructure that delivers proven performance".
Credit Suisse, which has been in business for over 150 years, is one of the world's most respected banking brand names.
