Managed hosting should come with email
13/08/2009

Businesses looking to outsource their IT operation with a managed hosting deal should ensure that email hosting is part of the package, it has been claimed.
According to leading industry website Web Hosting News, it is vital that businesses choose the right data storage or co location service one that will suit their needs.
The website said that email is vital to modern business and should always be a crucial part of a web hosting package.
Other things that businesses opting for a managed hosting service should take into account are the amount of storage space they will be offered, bandwidth restrictions and the amount of uptime the provider can guarantee.
"A complex e-commerce site along with numerous products in one's database demands a capacity of 1 GB," the website stated.
Meanwhile, according to IT industry research firm Gartner, managed hosting service providers could be subject to industry-wide regulation by as soon as 2015.
